It has been such a fun experience having Helaine as our canasta teacher. Her ability to patiently explain the complex game of canasta turned this mah jong player into a canasta fan. Her teaching method was easy to follow and understand. Helaine always came prepared with visual materials and reinforced the rules and basics of the game from week to week. Her passion for the game is evident and contagious. Helaine is approachable and always happy to take a text or an email with questions about the game-even after the sessions are over. I highly recommend Helaine for anyone wanting to learn the game of Canasta!
